Whistleblowing

Report misconduct at LK Group

LK Group is committed to maintaining a healthy and transparent corporate culture. We encourage anyone who becomes aware of serious misconduct within our operations to report it without fear of retaliation.

Our whistleblowing procedure is governed by the Swedish Whistleblower Act (2021:890) and is available to:

  • Employees

  • Agency workers

  • Job applicants

  • Interns

  • Members of company management

  • Active shareholders

  • Employees of subcontractors

What can be reported?

Misconduct that is in the public interest, such as:

  • Violations of human rights

  • Corruption

  • Misuse of public funds

  • Criminal acts

  • Violations of regulations issued by public authorities

  • Acts that pose a risk to life, health or the environment

  • Violations of competition rules

  • Unethical conduct in general

  • Attempts to conceal any of the above

You do not need to be able to prove the misconduct, but there must be objective circumstances that provide reasonable grounds to believe that the information is true.

You can also raise the alarm through a manager or safety representative, or by contacting your employee organisation. The person who receives the report is responsible for forwarding it to the Head of HR. If the matter concerns the Head of HR, the report will instead be forwarded to the relevant LK board.

Reports can be made completely anonymously. However, if you choose to remain anonymous, please be aware that we may have difficulty providing you with feedback in accordance with the process below.

What happens next?

  1. You will receive confirmation that your report has been received within seven days.

  2. The matter will be investigated by an independent investigator, either internal or external, who is not involved in the matter being reported.

  3. The investigation will begin promptly. If urgent action is required, it will be taken before the investigation is carried out.

  4. You will be informed that an investigation has been initiated and, subject to any legal restrictions, of its outcome within three months.

Protection for you as a whistleblower

  • Exemption from liability for breach of confidentiality – you cannot be held liable if the report involves a breach of confidentiality. This does not apply if you commit an offence when obtaining the information.

  • Protection against obstructive measures – neither LK Group nor our representatives may prevent or attempt to prevent you from reporting.

  • Protection against retaliation – you are protected against all forms of retaliation, such as termination of employment, dismissal, refusal of a request for leave or failure to receive a salary increase.

The protection may also extend to your relatives and to people who have assisted you in connection with the report.
