2016-11-01 Larger production facilities opened in China The LK Group´s marine valve and strainer manufacturing operation in China has moved to larger facilities. An investment which will give us the ability to meet increasing demand. The larger facilities were constructed based on expected growth in both the marine industry and other markets, and will assist us meeting the needs of our customers. 4 800 m² operational area The new factory, which is located in Chanzghou, China, has a total operational area of 4 800 m² that, in addition to the production area, includes a warehouse for storing valves and strainers and office space for testing and development. The contract was signed in June of this year, and the facilities were inaugurated in October. The new factory was constructed based on expected growth in both the marine industry and other markets, and will assist us meeting the needs of our customers, says Anders Johansson, CEO at LK - Marine Valves. Quality testing and product development In line with our strategy of delivering high-quality products, larger facilities will give us ability to develop quality-testing processes and focus even more on the development of new, more efficient products.
